The discussion of economic calculation in the socialist economy [1] ( English socialist calculation debate; economic calculation debate ) - the name that received the theoretical aspect of the events that took place in Soviet Russia during the period of military communism (the ban on free trade) [2] ; the policy of war communism posed theoretical questions related to the adoption of economic decisions in the absence of a "capitalist" market.
