In June 1357, she married Bero II , Earl of Clermont and Dauphin Auvergne. Brought to the dowry of the seigneur Yuffel (in Bourbonnet) and 15 thousand gold florins.
Sole child:
- Anna de Foret (1358-1417) - Countess Foret from 1372/1382, Dauphin Auvergne from 1400.
The brother of Jeanne Louis I de Foret died at the Battle of Brigne on April 6, 1362. He was succeeded by her other brother, Jean II , who suffered from mental illness and was not married. Jeanne was considered his heiress. However, on February 17, 1369, she died before she reached the age of 32.
Jean II died in 1372 (according to other sources, he was killed in 1369). After his death, Countess Foret declared herself Jeanne de Clermont (d. 1382) - his mother (and mother of Joan de Foret). She appointed her granddaughter Anna, the daughter of Jeanne, and in 1376 in exchange for a pension, she renounced all rights to the county.
