Content
History
Since 1928, the farm has been part of the Nikolaevsky District of the Kamyshin District (the district was abolished in 1930) of the Lower Volga Region (since 1934, the Stalingrad Region ) [3] . In 1935, the Kalashnikovskiy village council was included in the Kaisatsky district [3] (since 1936 it is an area within the Stalingrad region ) [4] . In 1950, in connection with the abolition of the Kaisatsky district, the farm as part of the Kalashnikovsky village council was transferred to the Pallas district [5] .
Physical-geographical characteristic
The farm is located in the steppe , within the drainless region in the north of the Caspian lowland , at a height of 33 meters above sea level [6] . In the environs common solontsy meadow (semi-hydromorphic), as well as light chestnut solonetsous, saline and meadow chestnut soils [7] . The landscape is subboreal continental, semi-desert , marine accumulative [8] . This type of landscape is characterized by flat, less often undulating plains , with rare beams , lake and salt marsh basins , with wormwood - fescue - feather grass and wormwood - fescue steppes with agricultural land plots [9] .
Near the farm there is the Pallasovka - Elton highway. By road, the distance to the administrative center of the rural settlement of the village of Novostroyka is 20 km, to the regional center of the city of Pallasovka - 18 km, to the regional center of the city of Volgograd - about 300 km. The nearest village Kalashniki is located 4.7 km west of the farm [10] .
