Biography
He began training at the age of 10 at the Grands Champs horse farm in Bois-le-Roi , largely thanks to his father, Marcel Rosier , champion of the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal [1] . At the age of 17 he became the champion of Europe among juniors in the team show jumping, and at 20 - the vice-champion of France. Thanks to this, in 1984 he went to his first Olympic Games in Los Angeles , when he was only 20 years old. In games, he took 20th place in individual show jumping and 6th place in team competition.
He went to his second Olympic Games 16 years later. At the Sydney Olympics, he took 21st place in the individual show jumping, not passing to the finals and 4 place in the team show jumping. And again, 16 years passed before Philip got to the Olympics. Initially, he was not among the participants in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , but due to a trauma to the horse of Simon Delestra , he was added to the team at the last moment. As a result, he became the 23rd in an individual show jumping and won a gold medal in the team [1] .
He is the owner of silver medals in team jumping competitions at the World Equestrian Games and European Championships, and also took 2nd place in the final of the World Cup in Bercy [2] .
In 2017, he released his autobiography Fils de [1] .
