Fredericus Adrianus Franciscus (Fritz) Schürkes ( Dutch Fredericus Adrianus Franciscus "Frits" Schuurkes ; June 11, 1933 , Tilburg - January 24, 1971 ) - a Dutch soccer player who played as a goalkeeper , played for the NLA club in Tilburg.

Career
In 1957, Fritz Schürkes, at the age of twenty-three, made his debut for the NLAA football club from Tilburg, previously he was a reserve goalkeeper in the Willem II team [1] . The first game in the Dutch championship for the NLAA was held on March 24 against the Rotterdam Feyenoord , replacing the main goalkeeper Ko Huysman in the starting lineup - his team lost 5: 2 at the exit at De Kuyp stadium [2] . In the remaining matches of the championship, Skurkes entered the field in five more matches - in only six meetings he conceded 17 goals. In the first ever Eredivisi season, the NLA team took 12th place.
In the 1957/58 season, he also served as a reserve goalkeeper, but in the championship matches he no longer played.
Personal life
Fritz was born in June 1933 in the city of Tilburg [3] . Father - Aloeysiyus Adrianius Anthonyus Schurkes, mother - Adriana Wilhelmina Petronella Cornelia van Amelsfort, both parents were from Tilburg. In addition to Fritz, their family had two more daughters.
He died in January 1971 at the age of 37, was married to Jeanne Nellen [4] .
