The wine festival in Zielona Gora is the annual largest cultural event in the region, which takes place in the Polish city of Zielona Gora in September [1] [2] . Usually this event takes about 7-9 days [3] [4] , during which numerous events organized by local associations, concerts, a fair and presentations of regional products are held, the main of which is wine [5] .
The centuries-old tradition of growing grapes has given rise to various customs, of which the most celebrated since ancient times was the annual celebration of grape harvesting. The first mention of the existence of vineyards on this territory dates back to the 14th century [6] . Initially, no laws governing the start and end of the harvest were in force. Since the mid- 19th century, the holiday has been proclaimed by the local administration. .
