Content
History
The region was founded on May 19, 1854. From May 18, 1882 to March 4, 1917, the region was part of the Steppe Governor General . In August 1920, it was incorporated into the Kyrgyz Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic .
December 11, 1920 transformed into the Semipalatinsk province .
