Professional career
Medium hand boxer in the 90s. Was the first opponent of Riddick Bowe . Due to unsuccessful management in the first 17 battles, he suffered 10 defeats. It would seem to be the "bag". However, after that he got together and issued a win-win series of 17 fights.
On August 18, 1992, Butler knocked out in round 1 of ex-world champion Tony Thubs. In 1994, Butler beat another ex-world champion, James "The Bonebreaker" Smith, by knockout in the 4th round.
