Beit Yashut ( Arabic: بيت ياشوط ) is a small town in northwestern Syria , located in the Latakia governorate. Included in the Jabla area. It is the administrative center of the same name Nakhia.

Geographical position
The city is located in the southeastern part of the governorate, west of the Ansaria mountain range, at an altitude of 764 meters above sea level [1] .
Beit Yashut is located approximately 34 kilometers southeast of the city of Latakia , the provincial capital, and 195 kilometers north-northwest (NNW) from Damascus , the country's capital.
Population
According to the official census of 2004, the population of the city was 6115 people (3118 men and 2997 women) [2] . Alavites predominate in the confessional composition of the population [3] .

The nearest civilian airport is Basil Al-Assad International Airport [1] .
