Biography
Nationality was defined as "Little Russia", that is, Ukrainian. A peasant in the village of Small Sambir, Konotop district, Chernihiv province. Educated in a 2-class public school. He served as a zemstvo teacher. Land holdings were 2.5 tithes. By the time of the State Duma elections, it remained non-partisan.
On February 6, 1907 he was elected to the State Duma of the 2nd convocation from the congress of commissioners from volosts. He joined the Labor Group and the faction of the Peasant Union . He was a member of the Duma commission on public education.
