Agnieszka Haupe-Kalka ( Polish: Agnieszka Haupe-Kalka ; born June 16, 1970, Zielona Gora , Polish People's Republic ) is a Polish poetess, writer and translator. Laureate of the Prize of the Mayor of Zielon Góra (1994).

Biography
Agnieszka Haupe was born in Zielona Gora in 1970. Her paternal grandfather, Wenceslas and Maria Haupe, were active participants in the Resistance in Poland during World War II and survived imprisonment in concentration camps Auschwitz, Birkenau and Buchenwald [1] .
As a member of the literary group Die Hülle, Agnieszka Haupe was one of the organizers of the Grochowice`93 festival, dedicated to the tenth anniversary of the death of the poet and translator Edward Stahura . In 1994, she received the Mayor of Zielon Góra Award.
In 1996 and 1998 she was a member of the , where she met the German bard . September 12, 1998 in Frankfurt an der Oder, they got married. In the press, their marriage was called "Weddings of poets."
In 1995, together with the poets , and , she became a co-founder of the “Association of Poets” in Zielona Góra. In 1995-1998, o-organizer of the "University of Poetry." In 1997, in Lublin, she participated in a German-Polish poetry festival and worked on the publication of the anthology Lubliner Lift / Lubelska winda (Lublin Elevator).
With Dieter, Kalke founded the project “Children Make Up Tales”. She participated in the festival of radio drama in the city of Rust, Austria, presenting on it her radio play “Mirror images of two peoples”, which was later presented to the public during a symposium at the Conference Center in Auschwitz. Her prose and poetry in German was published in Ostragehege and on the Portalpolen portal.
Agnieszka Haupe is also developing board games. She took part in the Göttingen Games Fair. From 1996 to 2005 she lived in Germany and Poland. Since 2006, lives in Ireland, translating from Polish into English and German.
