Biography
Born July 6, 1938 in Moscow. Father - Abram Shakhnovich Fridman (1904-1963), mother - Antonina Vyacheslavovna Raevskaya (1907-1983).
During World War II , his mother was evacuated to her relatives in the city of Kineshma , from where they returned to Moscow in October 1942. During the evacuation, the family broke up.
In Moscow, Vladimir graduated from high school. In 1961 he graduated from the Moscow State Economic Institute (now the Russian Economic University named after G.V. Plekhanov ), after which he worked as an economist in the Ministry of Finance of the RSFSR for about a year. In 1962 he was transferred to the USSR Ministry of Finance, where until 1965 he worked as an economist and senior economist. From 1965 he was in leadership positions, including in 1974-1989 he was head of various departments of the USSR Ministry of Finance.
In 1989-1991 - Deputy and First Deputy Minister of Finance of the USSR. From August 21, 1991 to February 4, 1992, he acted as Minister of Finance of the USSR].
In 1992-1995, Rajevsky was the first vice-president of Neftekhimbank . From 1995 to 2007 - President of the auditing firm "International Legal and Consultative Center for Taxation". In 1997, he was president of the East-West investment bank.
Since 1976 - Candidate of Economic Sciences (graduated from VZFEI postgraduate study) [1] , since 1991 - Doctor of Economics . In 1993 he was awarded the title of professor. Scientific and teaching activity led in the All-Union Correspondence Financial and Economic Institute and the Academy of Budget and Treasury.
Since 1992, Vladimir Abramovich Rajewski has been working as vice-president of the Free-Economic Society of Russia (VEO). Currently a member of the Senate - Council of Elders of the VEO [2] ; also a member of the International Union of Economists , academic secretary of the International Academy of Management.
Personal life
He lives in Moscow, divorced (since 1993), has a son - Vladimir (born 1971) [3] and five grandchildren.
