Story
Kalidasa works in the State Department of Archeology and is a foodie , he is 45 years old and is still not married. The only one who lives with him is his cook Krishna. Naveen is the nephew of Kalidasa, who stayed with him until he finds work. Kalidasa’s life went along the rut, until one day, by mistake, Gauri called him, a dubbing actress living with her friend Meghana. Gauri wanted to order a dosha from the restaurant, but instead dialed Calidasa's number. At first, their conversation did not go very well, but then turned into a romance at a distance, thanks to their common interest in cooking and food. Kalidasa is a born gourmet, while Gauri cooks in memory of his late mother. Kalidasa begins to dedicate Gauri to the secrets of baking a multi-layer cake called "Joana's Rainbow".
Kalidasa and Gauri are both afraid of their first personal meeting, as each of them is aware of their own flaws in appearance, and both decide to send instead a younger and better looking replacement, Navin and Meghana. When they meet, neither Navin nor Meghana understand that the other person is a replacement, because they are represented as Kalidasa and Gauri, respectively. Navin believes that Kalidasa really loves Meghana, and Meghana thinks that Gauri is in love with Navin. They try to sabotage the relationship of their older colleagues, telling Kalidasa and Gauri that the person they met would be unsuitable for them because of the huge difference in age and personality type. Kalidasa and Gauri try to forget each other and end up feeling sad over the long haul of the film. Finally, Kalidasa surrenders and calls Gauri, and they decide to meet face to face. And both though at this end the relationship. Navin and Meghana, who by this time had feelings for each other, are scared when they hear this, because they are afraid that their true identity will be revealed to another. Navin finally confesses to Meghana that he is not a real Kalidasa, and Meghana also tells her story. They both understand the confusion and call Calidas to apologize and tell about all the incidents unknown to him. Kalidasa and Gauri finally meet each other in the museum and begin a relationship.
