The village is located in the steppe, near the state border with the Republic of Kazakhstan [3] , 17 km east of the administrative center of the rural settlement of the village of Savinka . The village is serviced by post office 404231, located in the village of Savinka [2] .

The village of Kulikov of the Savinsokgo village council was included in the directory of the administrative-territorial division of the Volgograd region when the guide was reprinted in 1987 instead of the village of brigade No. 4 of the Chapaev collective farm [4] .
