Biography
Born May 10, 1924 in the city of Balta .
In 1941-1945 - on the fronts of World War II (volunteer, Komsomol motorized battalion in tank forces). Awarded three battle orders and two medals " For Courage ". After the war he worked on the restoration of the mines of Donbass. In Donetsk, the works of Semen Tsvang about mining work — the poem Young Miners, cycles of poems published in the anthology Literary Donbass, essays and stories in the regional and republican press, became widely known in Donetsk. In 1952, the first book Poems (5,000 copies) was published by the publishing house Donbass [1] .
Since 1956 - member of the Union of Journalists of the USSR . He worked in the editorial offices of newspapers Balta, Odessa , Donetsk , Kiev .
In 1966 he graduated from the philological department of the Odessa I. Mechnikov State University .
The author of three plays. Two of them - “The Star of Tamara” [2] and “Her Majesty's Friends” - walked on the stage of the Balt Folk Theater.

Laureate of the Foundation for the Perpetuation of Military Heroism. Isaac Zandman and Abraham Cohen for 2007.
Winner of the VP Nekrasov Prize, established by the Writers Union of Israel. (April 2010). [5] .
On May 17, 2013, at the Beit Bessarabia Tel Aviv House, Semyon Tsvangu was awarded the Yiddish Fikhman Classic Prize named after the Yiddish classic of literature founded by the World Association of Jewish Bessarabia.
