Biography
He was a Lille player, from where he twice went on loan. In the first half of the 2004 season, on lease terms, he played at the Wings of the Soviets club of the Russian Premier League , and spent the 2007/08 season at the Birmingham City club, with which he flew out of the English Premier League .
In July 2008, under full ownership, he moved to Valenciennes. The transfer amount amounted to 1 million € [1] . On March 9, 2012, Schmitz signed a contract with Atletico Paranaense . [2]
