Biography
In 1810 he entered the military service.
In 1815 he conducted topographic surveys of the location of units of the 1st Army during his stay in France.
From 1817 to 1828 he was a member of the trigonometric surveys of the Vilna , Courland and Grodno provinces .
In 1828 he was appointed divisional quartermaster of the 2nd equestrian jaeger division of the army. In the same year was the head of topographic surveys in Northern Bulgaria.
From 1829 to 1832 he was the head of the geodetic detachment formed during the Russo-Turkish War (1828-1829) .
In 1831 he was the head of the shooting of Moldova and Wallachia. For special services to the Corps of Military Topographers, his surname is stamped on the medal "In memory of the 50th anniversary of the KBT" [1] .
From 1834 to 1843, he headed the Finland Cadet Corps as a director [2] .
April 7, 1835 promoted to major general.
He died in 1843 in Friedrichsham and was buried in a local cemetery (the grave has been preserved) [3] .
