Palace of Culture (Molodechno)

• 1986 - a project was developed for a universal complex - the Palace of Culture.
• 1989 - the construction of the Palace of Culture began on the project of Vladimir Danilenko. Due to financial inadequacy, the construction of the facility was temporarily suspended. As it turned out later, for many years.
• Autumn 2001 - the construction of the Palace of Culture resumed.
• October 17, 2002 - a state institution was inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Belarus A. G. Lukashenko .

The adjacent area is 3525 m². The total area of ​​the premises is 10225 m².

The building consists of a club and concert-entertainment parts. The concert hall with a large and modernly equipped stage complex is designed for 837 seats.

The small hall, combining an auditorium (for chamber concerts and performances) and a conference hall (for meetings, seminars, film screenings), has 200 seats.

The institution has rooms for the work of many clubs, studios and creative associations, dressing rooms for artists, dressing rooms for creative groups, as well as a cafe "Palace" and a beauty salon "Orchid."

On the basis of the Palace of Culture there are 35 club formations and creative groups of various directions. 12 of them received the title "Honored", "People" and "Exemplary".

The Palace of Culture annually hosts about 400 events of various sizes.

The leading movement in the festival movement is the National Festival of Belarusian Song and Poetry “Maladzechna” ^[3] .

Among other projects: the festival “Golden Chanson”, the television project “Molodechno invites”, the Open Competition for young pop singers “Maladzіchok”, as well as the festival of creative youth “Art House”, the youth Orthodox ball “Sretenie”, the festival of youth creative initiatives “Time live! ”and many others.

The summer amphitheater opened in 2011. The site, designed by architect Valentina Zionskaya, was prepared specially for the Republican festival-fair of toilers of the village " Dozhinki - 2011".

The auditorium seats 2,606 seats (including a VIP box in 32 seats). The building has an area of ​​718.5 sq.m. consists of dressing rooms, make-up rooms, rooms with sanitary units, technical rooms. The stage of the concert hall is 710.6 sq.m., the total area of ​​the auditorium is 2347.9 sq.m. The amphitheater is equipped with a modern complex of lighting, sound and video equipment.

In 2016, at the main concert venues - the concert hall of the Palace of Culture and the Amphitheater - the main events were held as part of the Republican action "Cultural Capital of the Year". ^{[4] [5]} .

In 2016, the staff of the state institution “Palace of Culture of the City of Molodechno” was awarded a special prize for a significant contribution to the development of amateur art, including organizing the activities of 35 amateur groups, conducting more than 100 events as part of the Republican action “Cultural Capital of the Year”. (Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated December 31, 2016 No. 517). ^{[6] [7]}
