Biography
She studied the history of art and archeology at the University of Vienna , the Sorbonne and the Ecole de Louvre in Paris . In 1981, she opened the Austrian department of Sotheby's , which she led until 2000 . Since 1988, she was also Senior Director of Sotheby's Departments in Budapest and Prague . In 1990 - 1998, she was director of European development at the Solomon Guggenheim Museum in New York , from 2000 to 2003 - director of Rupertinum in Salzburg . From 2003 to 2005 - the founding director of the Art Nouveau Museum in Salzburg. In 2002-2004, she organized the construction of the Carinthian Museum of Modern Art. Since 2007 - Director General of the Austrian Belvedere Gallery .
Curator of many art exhibitions on classical modernism and contemporary art . Author and editor of scientific papers.
