The Northern International Film Festival (also NIFF Eng. Nordic International Film Festival ) is an international film festival held annually at the Victor Borge Hall in the building at 58th Park Avenue in New York [1 ] , in the USA .

At the festival, only international premiere films are presented, as well as the US East Coast [2] .
History
The festival was established on October 30, 2014 by director Johan Matton [3] [4] [5] [6] and creative director Linnea Larsdotter [7] . Scandinavian and international films are shown at the festival [8] . The forum is supported by consulates of all countries of Northern Europe and is considered the main Scandinavian film festival (outside of Scandinavia) [9] [10] [11] .
More than a thousand participants are represented at the festival annually, and the festival venue is an important center for meeting and cooperation between Scandinavian and American filmmakers [12] .
