Biography
Born in Kharkov in the family of lawyer Boris Semenovich Borev (real name Kaufman, 1898-1981), a native of Minsk , a member of the RCP (b) since 1918, who in the early 1930s headed the Department of Philosophy of Kharkov University , was a professor of VUAMLIN (All-Ukrainian Association Marxist-Leninist scientific institutes) and the editor-in-chief of the Partyizdat of Ukraine [6] . Mother, Sofya Abramovna Kibrik (1899-1982), came from Berdichev . Both parents participated in the civil war [6] , the father was the author of the books “How Councils Are Elected in Ukraine (to the new Regulation on Council Elections, approved by the Presidium of Vutsik on 10 / IX — 24 and adopted by the Third Session of Vutsik)” (Kharkov : Legal Publishing House of the People's Commissariat of the Ukrainian SSR, 1924. - 89 pp.) And "Society for Mutual Assistance in the Village" (Kharkov: Publishing House of the People's Commissariat of the Ukrainian SSR, 1925. - 112 pp.).
In 1945, Yuri Borev graduated from the Literary Institute in Moscow . As Borev writes in Autobiography, his teachers were the esthetician V. F. Asmus , the logician P. S. Popov , the philosopher M. A. Dynnik , the linguist A. A. Reformed , the folklorist S. K. Shambingo [1] . In 1947, Borev became a member of the All-Union Conference of Young Writers [7] . He studied at the Moscow Aviation Institute . Since 1956 he has been working at the Institute of World Literature of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (IMLI RAS), where for about 10 years he headed the department of theory of literature. He received professional recognition for his work on aesthetics , the concept of personality in art. Researcher and collector of folklore [8] . He coined the term “intelligent folklore” [9] . Yuri Borev justified his term:
In totalitarian societies, where the intelligentsia could not entrust their life experience to paper, a whole layer of culture arose - intellectual folklore, which gives an alternative picture of history in relation to the documents created by the documents.
Staliniade
Yuri Borev ’s book “ Staliniada ” was published for the first time in Poland, and according to Borev himself, it was banned in Russia [7] , although the first edition of this work in the USSR was published by the Soviet Writer Publishing House in 1990 [10] . Has undergone seven publications in Russian, as well as in German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Bulgarian, Serbian, etc., with a total circulation of about 2 million copies [9] .
Hearing as a form of information
Here are examples of "intelligent folklore" collected by Borev:
- Lenin said: "There are only three true communists in the party: Ulyanov, Lenin and I."
- <...>
- To the question of the questionnaire on education, Yezhov answered: "Unfinished lower."
- <...>
- Democrats took all privileges from the Communists and took them.
- <...>
- - What are you sitting for?
- - For talkativeness: telling jokes. And you?
- - For laziness. I heard a joke and I think: I will inform you tomorrow, but my friend was not too lazy.
- <...>
- Stalin watched Othello. The theater management asked his opinion. He thought and said: “And this one - how is it? “Iago is a good organizer.”
- <...>
- Once, Stalin woke up from silence: he did not hear the usual tramp of his boots, but felt that someone was walking around the apartment. He felt for the gun, always lying under the pillow, but saw the familiar figure of the batman. Stalin complained to Beria:
- “For some reason, he walks in slippers, not boots.” He wants to sneak up when I'm sleeping ...
- The guy was shot for trying to assassinate the leader.
According to the corresponding member. RAS, sociologist A.V. Dmitriev ,
In the book “The History of the Soviet State in Traditions and Jokes”, its author, apparently, quite confidently states that in a closed society, hearing is the main form of information. The war of rumors, in fact, is a rather important part of public life. [five]
