Victor Alekseevich Silakov (born August 18, 1926 ) - Soviet military leader, Colonel General (1987), head of the Political Administration of the USSR Air Defense Forces (1987-1989). Member of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR of the 10th convocation (since 1981). A candidate member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine in 1981-1986.

Biography
From the 40s he served in the Soviet army. Member of World War II . [one]
Member of the CPSU (b) since 1946 .
He graduated from the Military-Political Academy named after Lenin.
For a long time he was in the military-political work. He was the 1st Deputy Head of the Political Department of the 4th Combined Arms Red Banner Army of the Transcaucasian Military District .
Until May 1980 - 1st Deputy Head of the Political Department of the Red Banner Carpathian Military District .
In May 1980 - 1983 - Member of the Military Council - Head of the Political Department of the Red Banner Carpathian Military District .
In June 1985 - July 1987 - Member of the Military Council - Head of the Political Department of the Red Banner Far Eastern Military District .
In July 1987 - December 1989 - Member of the Military Council - Head of the Political Directorate of the Air Defense Forces of the USSR.
Then - retired. He lives in Moscow.
