Biography
Since September 1943, he served in the Soviet Army. Member of the Great Patriotic War since 1944. He served as the Komsomol organizer of the battalion of the 272nd Infantry Regiment of the 123rd Infantry Division of the 123rd Infantry Corps of the 1st Shock Army of the 2nd Baltic Front .
Higher education. He graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Institute of Railway Engineers.
Since 1952 - dispatcher, head of service, chief engineer of the railway department of the Sukhobezvodnoye station of the Gorky Railway of the RSFSR.
Member of the CPSU since 1953.
In 1959 - 1962 - master, senior master, section head, deputy head, head of the mechanical, frame and body workshops of the mechanical assembly building, secretary of the party committee of the Communist Party of the Kremenchug Automobile Plant .
In 1962 - 1963 - 2nd Secretary of the Kremenchug City Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
In January 1963 - February 1980 - the 1st secretary of the Kremenchug city committee of the Communist Party of the Poltava region.
Then - on responsible work in Kiev and Moscow.
