According to the 2000 census ^[1], there were 312 people, 118 households, and 86 families. The population density is 3.4 people / km². On the territory of the town there are 124 buildings with an average density of 1.3 buildings per square kilometer. Racial composition of the population: 98.72% of whites , 0.32% of Asians and 0.96% are two or more other races. Spaniards or Hispanics of any race accounted for 0.64% of the township population.

Of the 118 households, 35.6% raised children under the age of 18, married couples lived in 67.8%, single women lived in 3.4%, and non-family people lived in 27.1% of households. 22.9% of households consisted of one person, while 10.2% of them were single elderly people over 65 years of age. The average household size is 2.64 and the family is 3.17.

27.2% of the population is under 18 years old, 6.7% are between the ages of 18 and 24, 24.4% are between 25 and 44, 26.0% are between 45 and 64, and 15.7% are over 65. The average age is 41 years.
