Kharlamov created 42 cardboards (1897-1900) for mosaics in the interior of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ, on which the Pantokrator icons, 8 seraphim, 4 evangelists, 4 images of angels with passions, the Eucharist , Savior Emmanuel , and Savior Good Silence were painted " , " Mother of God " , " John the Baptist " , 8 images of heavenly powers (four options), " Christ in Glory " , 8 images of angels, " St. Basil the Great " , " St. John Chrysostom " , prayer before the sacrament, " Saints Cyril and Methodius " , " Saints Stefan of Perm and Isaac of Dalmatia " , frieze of seraphim , images of seraphim and angels. The artist spent the last years of his life in the village of Tymenka , located 19 kilometers from Kholuy (33.5 km by road) and 6.5 km from Palekh (7 km by road). There, in Tymenka, he ended his life in 1935, and was buried in the parish church cemetery.
Works
Christ in Glory
Type: Mosaic
Description: The composition occupies the entire spherical surface of the large apse. In the center of it is placed an elongated figure of Christ, carried by seraphim, inscribed in Mandorlu's shining with fiery bursts of fire. Beautiful, dark, with traces of suffering, his face is severe. He is all motionless, only his eyes live. The figure of Christ is shrouded in a pale turquoise cloak, from under which the sleeves of a pale red tunic are visible. Along the edges of the composition are two balancing groups of representatives of the heavenly army. Due to the fact that the mosaic is located on a curved surface, a very special ratio is established between it and the interior space. The real space of the interior, as it were, flows into the deepening of the conha. The figures depicted come into contact with this space.

Pantocrator
Type: Mosaic
Description: In the ceiling of the central tent, according to ancient iconography, there is an image of Pantocrator, reminiscent of Byzantine samples. The image created by N. N. Kharlamov is monumental: clear smooth lines, laid in no more than two shades of color, the desire to return to a certain schematic, in which the main psychological moment is the eyes. The mosaic is composed of pieces of smalt, which are clearly visible even at high altitude.

Mother of God
Type: Mosaic
Description: The mosaic is placed in the ceiling of the northwest chapter. The Mother of God here is a female face of extraordinary beauty, perceived more as a romantic image, rather than a canonical image of a saint. The face is oval with rounded cheeks, the nose is slightly elongated with a hump. The hair is not visible, since it is covered with a bluish-turquoise cover, on top of it is a dark purple, on the edge embroidered with gold cloak, covering the head and shoulders. On the cape, in the region of the head and shoulders are three eight-pointed stars. The eyes of the Mother of God are light brown, hazel in color, but shaded by turquoise and purple tones, from a distance are perceived as violet.
