Kochegenskaya [3] (in the reference book “Surface water bodies of Crimea” - a beam without a name, flows into Lake Tobechik [4] ; Ukrainian Kochegenska , Crimean-Tat. Köçegen, Kochegen ) - a low-water beam in the east of the Kerch Peninsula . The length is 9.0 km, the catchment area is 33.0 km² [4] , the beginning of the beam is located in the northern part of the Vysokovsky Forestry [5] , flows first to the southeast, turning in the middle part to the northeast, flows into the southwest part of Lake Tobechik [3] [6] . The gully has 18 tributaries, one of which has its own name - the Kuliki gully, starts at the Sosman mountain, flows to the right, at the former village of Nizhny Kuchugen , 3.5 kilometers from the mouth [3] [7] . The left tributary, without a name, 5.1 km long, the catchment area is 4.4 km², flows 0.6 km from the mouth [4] . Before the war, there were 3 villages in the beam - Upper Kochegen , Nizhny Kochegen and Beshtarym [8] .
