Mary Cross (born Mary Cross , born 1934) - American professor, editor, writer and biographer. She has written several books, including on such personalities as Henry James [1] and Madonna [2] [3] [4] . She acted as the editor of the directory “100 people who changed America in the 20th century” (English 100 People Who Changed 20th-Century America ) Prof. Emeritus in English at Farley Dickinson University . Cross holds a PhD from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan . She taught at the City University of New York and the University of Delaware [5] .
