Trzcianne ( Polish; Trzcianne ; outdated. Trostyany ) - a village in Poland , part of the Monk County of Podlaskie Voivodeship . The administrative center of the municipality of Trzcianne . Located about 10 km southwest of the city of Monki . According to 2015 estimates, about 545 people lived in the village [1] . There is a Catholic church (1846) and a Jewish cemetery.

History
Former Jewish town . By the end of the 19th century, the town of Trostyan was part of the Bialystok district of the Grodno province . Trade in bristles and bread was developed. There was a brush factory, there was a post office and a telegraph [2] . According to the census of 1897, there were 2,313 inhabitants, among them 2,276 Jews [3] .
