Vasily Mitrofanovich Brovchenko is a Soviet wrestler, who competed in sambo , freestyle and classic wrestling competitions , prize - winner of the USSR championships in all these types of wrestling, and the USSR champion in sambo. Initially, he played for the Wings of the Soviets club ( Moscow ), since 1946 - for the team of the Ukrainian SSR . He worked as a coach at the SKA club ( Kiev ). In 1959, he was awarded the title Honored Coach of the USSR in classical wrestling.
