Biography
He studied at Harvard University ( college , high medical school).
He worked for 60 years at the Boston City Hospital (a tuberculosis specialist).
Author of over 800 scientific papers, sections of numerous scientific publications and reports. Scientific papers on pneumonia are recognized as classic medical research samples.
In 1988 , the founded by the US National Infectious Diseases Foundation, which is awarded annually to a scientist who made an “outstanding contribution to the understanding of infectious diseases or human health” [5] .
Since 2002 , the medical community of the USA and devoted students of M. Finland solemnly celebrated the 100th anniversary of the scientist with an International Scientific Symposium.
