Biography
He was educated in Vienna , in 1872 he studied at the University of Vienna .
In 1877 he defended his thesis and received his doctorate, became a doctor of law (his teachers were Ivo Pfaff and Friedrich Maassen).
After that, he was the recipient of the Austrian financial prosecutor's office.
In 1879, he was habilitated as a private assistant professor of law, and then as an assistant professor of Austrian property law at the University of Vienna.
During 1879 - 1880 G. Singer taught church law at the Franz Josef University of Chernivtsi , where in 1880 he was appointed freelance, and since 1885, by imperial decision, a full-time assistant professor in this subject.
During the 1886 - 1887 academic year, G. Singer worked as dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Chernivtsi.
In the academic year 1887 - 1888 he was elected rector of the Franz Joseph University of Chernivtsi [2] .
Since 1891, Heinrich Singer has been working as a professor of canon law at the University of Innsbruck , and since 1896 he has been a full-time professor at Charles University in Prague at that time.
During World War I , he issued a 70-page pamphlet against an attempt to relocate the University of Chernivtsi to Salzburg .
He died and was buried in Prague in 1934 .
