Career

Be began his career at the club " Tresi " [2] . In 1959, he moved to Sport Recife [3] [4] . In 1961, he became a Santos player, winning the state title in the very first season [2] . But in this club, he played a little: Be was considered as understudy of Pagan and Coutinho [4] . 1962 was one of the most successful years for the club: Santos won the São Paulo State Championship, Brazil Cup, Libertadores Cup and Intercontinental Cup . Be did not participate in the last draw, however, he was on the bench in two matches of the tournament [4] .

At the end of 1962, Bee moved to the Sporting Lisbon [4] . In the first season, the player helped the club win the Portugal Cup . And in 1964 he helped the team to win the UEFA Cup Cup , having played in the final series in the first game. In 1965, Be left the club, returning to Brazil. There he played for America , Avai , Noroeste and Rio Branco [3] .

After the end of his career, Be settled in Santos , where he worked as a painter [4] . In old age, he began to suffer from Alzheimer's disease [4] .
