Winifred Holtby Memorial Award

The Winifred Holtby Memorial Prize was awarded from 1967 to 2003 by the Royal Literary Society of Great Britain for the best regional novel of the year [1] . The award is named after the British journalist and writer , known for her novels about the village life of Great Britain. In 2003, the prize was replaced .
