On October 16, 2007, Yahoo announced that it would no longer provide technical support for the service or bug fixes for Yahoo! 360 °, since they are going to abandon this portal in early 2008 in favor of “universal profiles” that will be similar to their experimental system en: Yahoo! Mash . [3] However, they stated that it alone would not be replaced by Mash. [four]
On May 6, 2008, Yahoo announced that they have several offers for Vietnam that are part of their South Asian development strategy. One such offer was Yahoo! 360 ° Plus Vietnam is the new Vietnam blogging app. [5] [6] Subsequently, Yahoo! 360 ° Plus Vietnam was launched in Vietnam along with another service for Yahoo! Vietnam such as Yahoo! Music (not active since 2009). [7] By the end of January 2010, the number of registered users had grown to 1,500,000.
In May 2009, while the service was still in the process of public testing, Yahoo! announced that the portal Yahoo! 360 ° will be officially closed July 13, 2009 since the developers of Yahoo! aim to "focus on the new Yahoo profile." [8] Users were given the opportunity to migrate their blogs and information from Yahoo! 360 ° into new profiles before the deadline. However, Yahoo! 360 ° Plus Vietnam is still an active portal.
