Arthur Guinness ( January 11, 1846 - June 10, 1913 ) is a New Zealand politician and statesman.

Biography
Arthur Guinness was born in Calcutta , India , in the family of Frank Guinness, who arrived in Littelton on the ship "Tory" in August 1852. He was educated at Christ College Christchurch .
Arthur was a member of the liberal party. In the elections to the 8th parliament of New Zealand in 1876, Arthur Guinness took the last place. During the 9th New Zealand Parliament election, Arthur defeated incumbent MP Joseph Petrie. Until 1890 he remained a member of the House of Representatives of New Zealand . He was a member of the 9-18th parliaments of New Zealand, from 1884 to 1913. He died on June 10, 1913.
Family
Arthur Guinness was the great-grandson of the Dublin brewer Arthur Guinness (1725-1803).
