Biography
Born in a Polish family. He graduated from high school in Nemirov, Vinnytsia region in 1941. During World War II he was evacuated to Kyzyl, where he worked at a mine. In 1943 he was sent to Ryazan , where the 1st Polish division named after Kosciuszko was formed in the USSR. He took part in the battles until the end of the war, was seriously wounded, and later demobilized.
In 1950 he graduated from the Kiev Medical Dental Institute. He worked as a dentist in the district clinic of Zalogovaya, Chernivtsi region (1950-1954). He studied at the graduate school of the Central Institute for Advanced Studies of Doctors. The competition enrolled as a senior researcher at the Odessa Research Institute of Dentistry in the clinic of maxillofacial surgery (1958). He was elected head of the surgical department of the Moscow Institute of Medical Cosmetics (1959-1963).
After the organization of the Central Research Institute of Dentistry, he worked as a scientific secretary, since 1963, was transferred to the position of senior researcher in the department of surgical dentistry of the same institute (1971-1979). Elected in 1979 to the post of head of the Department of Dentistry BelDIUU, which in 1977 was renamed the Department of Surgical Dentistry. In 1991, at his personal request, transferred to the post of professor of the department, worked until 1993.
The scientific degree of a candidate of medical sciences was awarded in Moscow (1958), of a doctor of medical sciences in 1971, with the rank of professor approved in 1973
Scientific activity
The main areas of scientific activity cover new methods of plastic surgery of the nose, auricle, oral cavity, jaw osteosynthesis and development of tools, for which he received 30 copyright certificates.
He is the author of 250 articles published in domestic and foreign (more than thirty) publications, including Czechoslovakia - 12, the USA - 9, in Poland - 6. Co-author of many other publications and 12 candidate dissertations.
