He worked as editor-in-chief of the Erzyan-language magazine Syatko (Iskra).
Chairman of the Union of Writers of the Republic of Mordovia since 2000 .
He is the author of large prose works, including Kochkodsykes - Paksy Narmun (Quail - Field Bird, 1993), Bayagan Suleit (In the Shadow of Bells, 1995). Translations were made into Russian, Mari, Chuvash, Udmurt languages.
