Biography
He studied medicine in Edinburgh, London and Heidelberg and from the 1870s. devoted himself to the experimental study of the administration of the brain. His work and experiments made mainly on monkeys. In addition to numerous journal articles, he owns a valuable work "On the administration of the brain" (two English publications, 1876 and 1886), also translated into German and French. He was a professor of physiology and forensic medicine in London [3] .
