The house-museum of Jamshid Jafarkuli oglu Nakhichevan - a memorial museum in memory of the Soviet and Azerbaijani military commander. The museum is under the control of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan .

Content
History
The museum was created in 1981 on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of one of the representatives of the Khan of Nakhichevan family, the commander of the Azerbaijan Mountain Rifle Division, brigade commander Jamshid Nakhichevan. The museum has 3208 exhibits that reflect the life and work of Jamshid Nakhichevan, including photographs, orders and medals, documents, books, letters and manuscripts, personal and household items. Among them there are articles and books devoted to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic .
Building
The building was built in the second half of the XIX century by the father of Jamshid of Nakhichevan Jafargulu Khan . The building is two-story, consists of 4 main and 5 secondary rooms. In 1923 the building functioned as a hospital, in 1940 as a city psychiatric clinic.
