Biography

The son of the commander of the Red Army , military engineer Sergei Ivanovich Kolibernov (1901-1962). In 1938 he graduated from high school.

In the Red Army since 1938. He entered the fortification faculty of the Military Engineering Academy named after V.V. Kuibyshev .

He met the beginning of the Great Patriotic War in industrial practice on the construction of fortified areas on the western border of the USSR. He fled from the border with battles, was surrounded on the South-Western Front , and was slightly injured in the summer of 1941. He performed various posts in exchange for the dead officers , in battles he commanded both an artillery platoon and a rifle company . In 1942, he was the head of the engineering department of a separate cadet fighter division on the Stalingrad Front . He was heavily shell-shocked in August 1942, sent to the hospital . There he was found on request from the academy.

In December 1942, he was sent from the hospital to the Military Engineering Academy to complete his studies; he graduated in 1943. From March 1944, again in the army, he was adjutant senior of the 334th separate combat engineer battalion of the 153rd infantry division in the 49th army on the Western Front , then the commander of this battalion. Since there was no battalion commander, the young officer also performed his duties. With this battalion, he marched hundreds of kilometers, liberated Minsk , Mogilev , Grodno , and other cities. The division was the first to cross the Soviet-Polish border and took up defense on the outskirts of East Prussia . In May 1944, he was wounded a second time.

At the end of 1944 he was appointed assistant chief of the operational department of the headquarters of the engineering troops of the 2nd Belorussian Front . In 1945 - Assistant Chief of Staff of the Engineering Forces of the 2nd Belorussian Front for Intelligence. He graduated from the war with the rank of major .

After the war, he continued to serve in the Soviet Army , served in the headquarters of the engineering forces of the Northern Group of Forces ( Poland ), officer of the military scientific department of the Combat Training Directorate of the Chief of Engineering Troops of the Soviet Army, actively participated in the preparation of military manuals and manuals. In the first half of the 50s, on an initiative basis, Lt. Col. Kolibernov led a group of officers who built the SPB-206 pile-driving steam (after completion of the project it was put into service).

In 1959 he graduated from the Military Academy of the General Staff . He served as chief of the engineering forces of the 14th Army of the Odessa Military District . Since 1965, he was the head of the engineering forces of the Northern Group of Forces, since 1968 he was the head of the department in the Office of the Head of the Engineering Troops of the Soviet Army, and since 1970 he was the chief of staff of the engineering troops and the first deputy chief of the engineering troops of the Soviet Army.

Since 1978 - Head of the Military Engineering Academy named after V.V. Kuibyshev. Since 1988 - in stock.

He lived in Moscow. For many years he worked as a professor in the department of combat use of special weapons of engineering troops of the Military Engineering Academy [1] . He is the author of dozens of scientific works on the engineering support of troops, counteraction to precision weapons, and the history of engineering troops. Academician of the Academy of Military Sciences . Professor, Doctor of Military Sciences .

He was buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery .
