Club career

He began his career, speaking in the lower leagues for the clubs " Giuliano ", " Palmese ", " Sant'Anastasia " and " Tertsino ". In the summer of 2002, he joined the team of the Salernitan Series B. On September 14, 2002, Sardo made his debut in the second most important league in Italy , leaving mainly the home team against Ternany [2] . The 2003/04 season played for another club in the Serie B " Avellino 1912 ". May 16, 2004 Sardo scored his first goal in the league, bringing the team victory in the end of the home match with Genoa [3] . In mid-2004, he moved to Piacenza , for which he played the next two years also in Serie B.

In the summer of 2006, Sardo became a Catania player, who then returned to Serie A. On October 7, 2007, Sardo scored his first goal in Serie A , which became the only and victorious home game against Livorno [5] .

Since the beginning of 2009, Sardo on loan has been playing for the Chievo Verona team, and since the middle of 2010 he has become a full-fledged player. He represented the Verona club until the end of the 2016/17 season , when he finished his career as a professional football player.
