Club career

Eggstein is a graduate of the Werder Bremen Club. On August 21, 2016, Johannes made his debut for the main team in the German Cup match against Sportfroinde [2] . On August 26, 2017, in his match against Bayern Munich , he made his debut in the Bundesliga , replacing Fin Bartels in the second half [3] .

International Career

In 2015, Eggstein as part of the German youth team won silver medals at the European Youth Championship in Bulgaria . At the tournament, he played in matches against teams of Belgium [4] , Slovenia [5] , Spain [6] and France [7] . In a duel against the Slovenes, Johannes scored a goal.
