Tumanovsky is a settlement in the Zavyalovsky district of the Altai Territory of Russia . The administrative center and the only settlement of the Tumanovsky Village Council .

History
The settlement was founded in 1926 [2] (according to other data - in 1925 [3] ). In 1926, there were 180 households in the village and 964 people lived. Administratively, the village was the center of the village council of the Zavyalovsky district of the Kamensky district of the Siberian region [3] .
Geography
The settlement is located in the western part of the Altai Territory, within the Kulundinskaya Plain , at a distance of about 13 kilometers (in a straight line) to the west of the village of Zavyalovo , the administrative center of the district. The absolute height is 186 meters above sea level [4] .
The climate is temperate, sharply continental . The average January temperature is −18.6 ° C, July - +19.3 ° C [5] .

Infrastructure
The village has a main secondary school [13] , a medical assistant and obstetric center (a branch of the KGBUZ Central Regional Hospital in Zavyalovo) [14] and a branch of the Russian Post .
