Regulation
The Order “For Exceptional Merits” is awarded to citizens of the Republic of Slovenia for outstanding services and achievements in asserting the sovereignty of the state, its prosperity, prestige and progress in cultural, economic, scientific, social and political spheres.
In exceptional cases, the order may be awarded to a group of citizens, legal entities, other organizations, as well as senior foreign statesmen.
Description
The badge of the order is a white enamel shamrock with a gold border and a faceted pomegranate in the center. Between the rays, sickle-shaped shtralov of blue enamel with pointed flat gold rays protruding above them.
The sign is attached to a triangular block covered with a silk moire ribbon of yellow color with a thin red stripe in the center.
The insignia of the order include a sash covered with yellow silk moire ribbon with a thin red stripe in the center.
