Biography
Born in 1934 in Toksumak, Osakarovsky district.
Parents Lotorev Dmitry Mikhailovich and Lotoreva Elena Mitrofanovna were peasants who were dispossessed and exiled.
In Zemlyanka, 5 children were born, but only one Nikolay survived.
At the end of the decade, Nikolai easily passed the competition at the M. I. Kalinin Leningrad Polytechnic Institute, after which he left to work in the Urals in Magnitogorsk.
Since 1955 - on economic, social and political work. In 1955 - 2000 - Chief Project Engineer of the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, Head of the Projects and Estimates Department of the Soyuzmetallurgprom, the largest in ferrous metallurgy All-Union Industrial Association of Metallurgical Enterprises, Director of the Central Museum of Metallurgy in Moscow.
Deputy chairman of the club of poets "Ash" at the South-Western Administrative District of the city of Moscow, member of the regional public organization "Children of the Great Patriotic War", member of the Council of Veterans-Metallurgists, member of the Kemerovo and Ural Fellowships.
I wrote a short verse about my profession
I’m a metallurgist, and I don’t hide it,
I’m proud of my profession,
How to cook steel, I know firsthand:
I work with metal nearby.
I am faithful to metallurgy to the grave,
I’m not ashamed of my life.
I praise the metallurgists from the people,
All the knights of fire and our Russia!
He died in Moscow in 2017, was buried in a grave next to his mother at the Khovansky cemetery .
