Club career
Trabzonspor
Yazici was born in the Turkish city of Trabzon . He was enrolled in the Trabzonspor Youth Academy in 2008, having signed his first professional contract with the club on December 21, 2015. [3] The next day, Yusuf made his debut for the main squad in the Turkey Cup vs Gaziantepspor match. [4] On February 7, 2016 in the match against Akhisar Belediyespor , he debuted in the Turkish Super League [5] . On May 8, in a duel against “ Rizespor ”, Yazidzhi made a “double”, scoring his first goals for “Trabzonspor” [6] .
December 22 Yusuf scored his first goal in the Cup of Turkey. [7] After retiring from the club, former main linebacker Mehmet Ekiji , Yazıcı became more often in the starting lineup, in March 2017 signing a new five-year contract with Trabzonspor. [8] [9] At the end of the same month, in the match against Galatasaray , Yusuf was watched by the Scouts of Manchester United and PSV , whose attention he attracted with his game [10] . Yidazhi completed the 2016/17 season with six goals in 22 matches of the season in all tournaments.
On October 22, 2017, in the match against Yeni Malatyaspor , Yusuf received a red card. [11] A little later this month, the Turks scored their first goal in the 2017/18 season, allowing Trabzonspor to beat Galatasaray with a 2: 1 score. [12] In 2018, Yazidzhi was named by UEFA one of the 50 most promising players of the year. [13] This season, Yusuf spent 33 matches in the Turkish league, scoring 10 goals and giving 5 assists. [14]
International Career
On February 25, 2016, Yaziji made his debut for the junior national team of Turkey under 19 years old in a match against the junior national team of the Czech Republic up to 19 years old , having distinguished himself with a scored ball in this match. [15] I also called in the youth team of Turkey under the age of 21 , having spent one match for it.
On June 11, 2017, in the qualifying match for the 2018 World Cup against the national team of Kosovo, Yazici made his debut for the national team of Turkey [16] .
