In 2009, the Workers' Revolutionary Party changed its name to the Communist Party of Namibia . In the general election of 2009, 1,005 voters voted for the party, and 810 for its candidate for president [3] . This was the worst result of all who participated in the 2009 elections in Namibia [3] .
In the 2014 general election, the party came out with its original name, "Workers' Revolutionary Party." She received 1.49% of the vote, which allowed her to hold two deputies in the National Assembly [4] .
