Biography
Anatoly Kuznetsov was born on March 22, 1938 in Novosibirsk . In 1965 he graduated from the Sverdlovsk College of Physical Education. In 1966 he moved to Sverdlovsk-45 (now the city of the Forest Sverdlovsk region ). There he began to prepare skaters. Among his first students was Yuri Kondakov, who later achieved high sports results, became the world champion, took part in the Olympic Games. For the training of Yuri Kondakov in October 1971, Anatoly Kuznetsov was awarded the title "Honored Trainer of the RSFSR" [1] . His other pupil was Dmitry Ogloblin, world record holder and participant in the Olympic Games [2] . Since 1983, Anatoly Kuznetsov is a trainer and teacher at the Sports School “Fakel”. His teaching experience was about thirty years [3] .
He was awarded the medals " For Labor Valor ", " Veteran of Labor " [1] . Kuznetsov handed over his medal “Coach of the Champion of the USSR” to local collector Sergei Rybakov [4] .
He died in the city of Lesnoy on May 21, 2012 [5] .
Memory
In the city of Lesnoy, the city’s speed skating championship is held annually, dedicated to the memory of Anatoly Fedorovich Kuznetsov [6] [3] .
