Chrysaor ( ancient Greek Χρυσάωρ , "golden sword") is in ancient Greek mythology [1] the son of Poseidon and the Gorgon of Medusa [2] , born when Perseus decapitated the gorgon . Born with a golden sword in his hands [3] . Pegasus's brother.

Chrysaor and Oceanid Callirois are the parents of the monstrous three-headed Gerion [4] .
According to the interpretation of Diodorus, Chrysaor is the king of Iberia , who had 3 sons [5] (this is how the myth of the three-headed Gerion is interpreted).
