Biography
Born on July 7, 1944 in the village of Shulets, Rostov Region, Yaroslavl Region [2] .
From 2004 to 2015 - Director of the Institute of Marine Technology Problems of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences ( Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk ) [3] .
In 2011, he was elected a corresponding member of the RAS [4] .
Scientific activity
Specialist in the field of computer systems, systems and networks, modeling of electronic devices of large dimension.
The main scientific results .:
- the algebra of structural numbers and new methods for the analysis and synthesis of large-dimensional systems, which are used to create microelectronic devices and communication systems;
- developed mathematical models of irregular sea waves, ship pitching and a tethered underwater object, and ways to compensate for the effect of pitching on the depth of the object;
- non-contact transmission of electricity to an immersed facility is justified.
He taught as a professor at the Khabarovsk Pacific State University and the Far Eastern Federal Universities [4] .
Under his leadership, 12 candidate and 1 doctoral dissertations were defended [4] .
He was a member of the editorial board of the journal “Underwater Research and Robotics” of the Russian Academy of Sciences, chairman of the organizing committee of a scientific and technical conference with international participation “Technical problems of the development of the oceans”.
The author of 75 scientific publications and inventions.
